Celtic Cross Education is a Multi academy Trust of twelve primary schools from across Cornwall. The Trust was formed in September 2017 with a merger between the Saints’ Way CofE MAT and St Piran’s Cross MAT. The schools are all Church of England schools, with distinctive Christian values across the Trust and within individual schools.
CCE schools range from large urban schools in towns such as Bodmin, Helston and St Austell, smaller village schools such as St Tudy, Grampound with Creed and Marhamchurch and one of the smallest rural schools in Cornwall at Lerryn. Schools in the Trust can be found near the coast, some close to Bodmin Moor or some in urbanised areas. Some of the Trust schools are isolated by location from others, some are in close proximity to other local Trust schools and work closely together.
Ten out of the twelve schools have an Ofsted grading of Good – with two Requires Improvement.
